Accessibility Statement for Resuscitation Research Group Website
Website accessibility statement inline with Public Sector Body (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018
This website is run by the Resuscitation Research Group within the University of Edinburgh and is on the www.rrg.scot domain.
We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. For example, that means you should be able to:
- access and navigate on a range of devices and screen sizes
- navigate most of the website using just a keyboard
- change colours, contrast levels and fonts
- zoom in up to 200% without the text spilling off the screen
- navigate most of the website using speech recognition software
- listen to most of the website using a screen reader
We’ve also made the website text legible and as simple as possible to understand.
Low accessibility areas of the website
Whilst we have tried to make most of our website accessible to all, we know some parts of the website are not fully accessible yet such as:
- some parts may not be fully compatible with screen readers
- you may not be able to access all content by using the keyboard alone
- not all media will have a transcript or be subtitled
- some text may not reflow in a single column when you change the size of the browser window and at certain levels of magnification
- some older PDF documents are not fully accessible to screen reader software
